Maratha sardar pagadi is designed for honorable maratha sardar of maratha kingdom like Shinde, Holkar, Gaikwad, Sindhiya etc. The pagadi being a symbol of honour of maratha sardar, family members wear pagadi in their ritual ceremonies, weddings and festivals. Made of pure cotton, it is often referred to as the ‘Sardar’ pagadi when decorated with traditional way. It may also sport a jewel on the front centre, known as a sarpech, or ‘head ornament’.
A symbol of pride and prestige, this head gear is worn as the sign of loyalty and love for the culture, especially during religious functions and wedding occasions.

The quality is good and they also offer customised orders. You can either buy or rent. The rates are bit high but these things we normally use very seldom.
